What is a fishing charter?

There are dozens of charter companies that operate out of Homer Harbor, about 10 minutes from the Mansions of Alaska Luxury Adventures. But you will not have to take a gamble on getting the "best" one. You just tell us what kind of fish you want to catch and we will do the rest. From procuring your Alaska Fishing License to booking your charter and getting you right where you need to be, our team will take care of everything.

Whether it's fishing for king salmon on the incredible teal-blue waters of the Kenai River or flying out to your boat for the Ultimate Fish and Fly experience, you will have the fishing adventure of a lifetime included in your package. And remember, if you are staying with us four days, you can choose 2 excursions; choose 4 if you're with us for a week.

Fish and Fly Charter

We have partnered with the incredible people at Destination Alaska Charters to offer as one of your excursion choices the Ultimate Fish and Fly. This is like no fishing charter you have ever imagined.

They combine floatplanes and a 44' state-of-the-art gyro-stabilized fishing vessel to create a truly unique fishing experience. They send their boat crew out first thing in the morning, several hours into the best fishing spots, while you sleep in a little bit. You then board a floatplane and make a quick 20-minute flight out to the boat. Fish all day and don't worry about getting hungry, because they feed you a 5-course meal while you are on the boat! And while other charters are heading back to shore, you have up to 1.5 more hours to seize the bite.

You are then flown, along with your amazing catch, over glaciers, snowcapped mountains and waterfalls to return to the mansion in time for your chef-prepared delectable dinner. A Tier 1 Must-Do Excursion that will stay with you forever.
